EBRI is a commercial facility built on the site of a brick factory, a modern industrial legacy that remains in Ebetsu.
It houses numerous stores, including restaurants, markets, and souvenir shops.
The special products made from Ebetsu’s products are popular among local residents and tourists.
Ebetsu Ceramic Art Center
Ebetsu Ceramic Art Center is an arts center where you can see exhibitions of pottery from around Hokkaido and the history of bricks in Ebetsu. Bricks in Ebetsu have been produced since 1891.
In the Brick Exhibition Room, dioramas and models of bricks, manufacturing tools, and kilns from the period are on display.In the Northern Ceramics Exhibition Room, 58 works produced in various parts of Hokkaido are on display.
Visitors can experience the actual process of making pottery through hands-on pottery making and painting.
Patisserie Morpho
This French pastry store uses milk and cheese from Hokkaido.
You can eat soft ice cream, parfait and cake with seasonal fruits. You can also use the cafe space in the store between 12:00 and 16:00.
Cheesecakes such as “Morpho camembert Cheese” and “Morpho Fromage” are recommended.
